Gum Disease
6
Gum disease occurs when the teeth and gums in your mouth are infected with bacteria. If you have gum disease, you may experience symptoms such as a lingering bad taste or smell in your mouth, swollen or bleeding gums, and pain with chewing. While there are over-the-counter products that can be used to help relieve these symptoms, it is extremely important to take good care of your teeth in order to prevent gum disease from occurring in the first place.
