Here are some steps you can try to lower your chances of getting motion sickness while riding in a moving vehicle:
- Ride in the front of a car
- Sit in a spot where you can look out the window
- Sit in seat that faces forward
- Keep your head still by resting it against the head rest
- Do not read while sitting in a moving vehicle
- Eat a light meal before riding a moving vehicle
- Keep the moving vehicle well ventilated
- Take an over-the-counter product before riding in a moving vehicle (Please refer to the “Treatments” section)
