Canker Sore
5
Canker sores, are small, shallow ulcers that appear in the mouth. Eating and talking is often uncomfortable and even painful when you have them. There are two types of canker sores: simple and complex. Simple canker sores may appear 3-4 times in a year and last up to a week, and they typically occur in people between 10-20 years old. Complex canker sores are less common and are more often seen in people who have previously had them.
