Whether you're trying to eat a healthy diet, exercise more often or make another healthy change, it can be tough to stay motivated. Rewards are a way to recognize your achievements along the way. Set a specific short-term goal that you have to reach to get the reward. It's best to avoid using food as a reward, since splurging on a high-calorie restaurant meal or sweet treat can sabotage your healthy efforts.

4: Enjoy a manicure, facial or massage.
5: Take a quiet hour or afternoon all to yourself, away from the family.

7: Treat yourself to new workout gear.
8: Share your success on your Facebook or Twitter page about your accomplishment.
