Tip 1: For a filling, high-protein salad, add skinless chicken or turkey. Or top with crab meat, tuna, salmon or low-fat cottage cheese. Garbanzo and kidney beans are another protein-rich option.
Tip 2: Prevent accidents by keeping staircases in your home clutter-free and carpeted, with carpet tacked down firmly. Safety gates at the top and bottom of stairs can keep little ones safe.
Tip 3: If you're trying to ditch a bad habit, such as smoking or heavy drinking, avoid joining friends who'll be taking part in that activity. Connect with folks who don't share the habit you're trying to kick.
Tip 4: If you must drive while exhausted, travel with a passenger. Ask him or her to sit in the front seat and stay awake.
