Tip 1: To add more seafood to your diet, top salads with scallops, shrimp or crab instead of steak or chicken.
Tip 2: If you have any food allergies, wear a medical or alert bracelet or necklace, Ask your doctor or pharmacist at your Good Neighbor Pharmacy if you need an epinephrine autoinjector (EpiPen®] for emergency treatment of a severe allergic reaction.
Tip 3: Brighten your plate. Red, orange and dark green vegetables are full of vitamins and minerals. Eat more cherry tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and collard greens.
Tip 4: Motivate yourself to quit smoking by not emptying your ashtrays. As cigarette butts pile up, you'll be reminded of just how many cigarettes you smoke each day.
Tip 5: Rest one to three minutes between sets when you're strength training to give muscles time to replenish their energy supply. Shorter rests are better for building endurance rather than strength.
