Your Diet: Holiday Parties? Here's Help

When you are managing diabetes, navigating holiday parties can be challenging. But you don’t have to miss out on the fun! Plan to eat a small, balanced meal or snack before you leave home. If you arrive at the party hungry, you’re more likely to overindulge. Study all of your food options at the party and think about what you will have before you put anything on your plate. Decide which foods are worth eating and which can be ignored. Then stick to that decision.
